Here at The Watermark, we are honored to be home to so many veterans of the United States Military. Our Veterans Wall is highlighted on every tour, and we are proud to commemorate the sacrifices made by so many of our residents in an effort to make our country safe. One of the ways we honor our veterans is by participating in the Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center and Library of Congress. The Veterans History Project collects, preserves and makes accessible, the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war. We partnered with cadets from the Philadelphia Military Academy to interview our residents and record the stories of their time in the service. It was a special day that we will remember for years to come.
