Rittenhouse Square Outing

Rittenhouse was named in 1825 after David Rittenhouse, a descendant of the first paper-maker in Philadelphia. This square sits in the middle of some of the most desirable addresses in Philadelphia. The park hosts dozens of events throughout the year. Popular restaurants and retail stores surround the tree-filled park, which offers an oasis of respite and relaxation amidst the bustling city. They both sat and reminisced about the square and how the neighborhood has changed for the better. What neighborhood should we visit next?
