We had a fantastic time at Linvilla! We got there in plenty of time for our scheduled tour time, so we had lunch first in their beautiful grounds and enjoyed watching the kids play at the near by play land. After we ate and relaxed a bit, we got together with our tour guide for a much anticipated hayride/ tour of the Linvilla Orchards. Much to our surprise, the owners still live in a quant house on the grounds. They recycle everything! The apple cider is made by the fallen apples off the trees and it tastes delicious! We all had a taste after the tour. They make all their pies, apple butter, pumpkin butter and lots of other treats right there on the farm. After the tour we did a little shopping. What an extraordinary experience that was! So much to see and buy! The last stop, pumpkin picking of course, we looked for the longest stems we could find because what’s a pumpkin without a cool stem? We will be carving them back at the community for a fun project. Linvilla was so welcoming, we will definitely visit again. Great time and great memories!
