Kais Naseery – Executive Chef
To Chef Kais, quality, integrity and perfection are culinary hallmarks and a sign of the personal passions he brings to work with him daily. Before joining The Watermark at Logan Square, Kais had an opportunity to demonstrate and hone these passions at Marriott in their five-star hotel restaurants. Kais has more than 20 years of experience creating delicious menus for upscale retirement communities as well.
Chef Kais is passionate in the concept of garden to table, creating recipes using fresh, local ingredients. Finding inspiration from time spent in Afghanistan and California, Chef Kais has introduced exciting new cuisines to The Watermark menu. One all-time favorite of Watermark residents is his Crab Imperial Stuffed Salmon and Brie en Croute. He enjoys taking old world recipes and giving them a modern twist. Chef Kais believes that by using the right ingredients, healthy can mean delicious and exciting.
Kais is married with two children and recently, his mother moved to the U.S. Together they enjoy cooking traditional Afghan dishes. His other interests include running, fishing and playing with his recently adopted shepherd-lab, Woody.
