The residents of The Gardens and The Inn had a rootin’ tootin’ good time at our Country Western Hoedown. Residents marveled over the décor as the room was quickly transformed into a Western Saloon. Entertainer Todd Horn played popular country tunes that was requested by both associates and residents. Residents were provided novelty items to wear such as bandanas, cowboy and cowgirl hats to set the mood. What’s a hoedown without square dancing and wild west chili dogs? Residents enjoyed the menu especially our beverage of the afternoon. “Bubba’s Barnyard Root Beer.” Associates and residents danced to the music and engaged in sing-a-longs to toe tappin’ tunes. The best part of the afternoon was residents getting their pictures taken with photo props and other novelty items to share fun pictures with their families. Such a spectacular time at this rootin’ tootin’ event.
