Sunday, August 28th proved to be a day of celebration at The Watermark as Eve Rudin’s family hosted a party for Rudin in honor of her 100th birthday with her daughter, granddaughter, great-grandsons and nephews by her side. As Eve greeted the many guests in attendance, she looked back on 100 years of wonderful memories. Eve was ecstatic by the turnout and was so happy to see everyone together. Live jazz music was provided by her nephews, one of which travelled all the way from California to celebrate. Eve stated that she has the most wonderful family and that she moved to The Watermark from Florida three years ago to be closer to her daughter. Since then, she has made many friends and stays active by attending lectures, music programs and indulging in everything that is offered. This born and raised Philadelphian is an inspiration to the rest of us with her vigor for life! Her only words of wisdom are “Do everything in moderation.” After Rudin blew out the candles and everyone shouted “Happy Birthday,” Eve glowed with happiness. She later spoke of the moment by stating how thankful she is for the life she has lived and for the friends and family that have loved her unconditionally.
